Congratulations to Axalto SP, S.A. of Barcelona, Spain who have successfully achieved Commitment to Excellence with the assistance of ley hill solutions as part of the European Foundation for Quality Management’s (EFQM) levels of excellence scheme.
ley hill solutions uses a process of structured improvement based on the EFQM Excellence model and the levels of excellence programme to help companies improve their performance. This provides a regular assessment of progress and a systematic method of improving the most important areas affecting businesses key performance indicators.
ley hill solutions has applied the EFQM Excellence model in a variety of industries including manufacturing, finance and service providers. For more information on how this tried and tested approach can benefit your business please contact us.
Working on behalf of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) we have undertaken validations for this scheme throughout the year. The C2E programme provides a structured method of starting out on continuous improvement in any organisation and demonstrates that the business is committed to improving what it does. The programme develops several key improvement projects over a six - nine month timescale with an assessed validation at the end.

Once again, ley hill solutions has been instrumental in supporting and driving improvement with not for profit organisations. The Chesham Chamber of Trade and Commerce (Where ley hill solutions is based) has grown its membership over the last year by over 25% under the chairmanship of Graham Hull and new exciting projects are about to be launched for 2005. The chamber now represents over 120 local businesses and nearly 1250 employed people.
ley hill solutions has worked closely with Business Link Solutions based in Thame Oxfordshire both in organising the annual Business 4 business exhibition in May and for its support of the series of Workout Workshops™.
We have also been involved with the Construction industry through CPN (Construction Productivity Network) for whom we have assisted at several presentations and workshops to discuss the use of the EFQM Excellence model in the construction industry.
For 2005 our enhanced workshop programme concentrates on some of the key issues facing senior managers and business owners at the moment.
Ensuring that corporate governance procedures are in place and are effective has come to the fore over the last 6 - 9 months with many high profile examples of where failures have occurred. Our business continuity and risk management workshop - "Are you prepared for the unexpected?" helps businesses to both identify and start to put in place the correct procedures and actions.
Customer and client confidence in what can be delivered is increasingly becoming more important before many businesses will trade with a particular organisation. Quality Management Systems, correctly installed and not too complicated can help provide the assurance that you can deliver what you have said you can. Our Workshop "Quality Management Systems - help or hindrance?" can put you on the right road and help you discover if they are the right way forward for your business. Come to our workshop and find out exactly what is involved in implementing an ISO9001:2000 quality management system in a SME over a 60 -90 day timescale.
Finally, continuous improvement of both the business overall and individuals within the business is addressed in our workshops "Is your business performance improving?" and "Are you achieving 10 out of 10 every time?"
To stand out from the crowd you need to highlight your unique selling points and show you are committed to continuous improvement in your operations and your people.
Our open courses run throughout 2005 - See timetable - but can also be tailored for a specific business and run in-house for your company. Please call us to discuss requirements and prices.
