Rajah is a specialist in Employee Opinion research and has considerable experience in employee engagement and the use of employee insight research, effectively using views and opinions to aid strategic decision making as well as improving the working environment. Rajah is a full member of the Market Research Society.
Rajah had a 20 year career within Royal Mail in roles ranging from front line operations to strategic and operational development. Between 2003 and 2006 Rajah led “Have Your Say”, Royal Mail’s employee opinion survey, the largest single survey of its type in Europe. Responsibilities included delivering the Survey and leading the strategic use of Have Your Say as a mechanism for employee engagement and dialogue, championing employee opinion and its appropriate use both within Royal Mail Group and externally. During this time an increase of more than 20% was seen in overall employee satisfaction across the group and in 2005 the survey achieved an average response rate of 65% across a population of over 200,000 employees.
Previous experience also includes providing client market research consultancy across a wide range of areas, including employee, customer and business-to-business research for various parts of Royal Mail Group. He has designed, commissioned and managed quantitative & qualitative market research.
