Rita Green

Rita has an impressive record of achievement in business improvement and change management over the past twenty years in diverse global industries, from aerospace, electronics, automotive to financial services. She combines her business knowledge with her foreign language and cultural knowledge to be highly effective working across international boundaries. She has delivered projects in English (UK, American), French and German.

Rita enjoys helping teams and individuals to make significant improvements to how they manage their businesses, be it an operating division, head office or function in one or across several countries.

Whilst working at Rolls-Royce Plc as Business Excellence Director, Rita was responsible for establishing the use of self-assessment (evaluating organisational effectiveness) against the EFQM Excellence Model as a major contributor to the Rolls-Royce business planning process. She made rapid progress in bringing various business units on-board, with a major achievement in helping the Marine Sector to make this a central part of developing a single culture company wide.

At Hewlett-Packard, Rita’s focus was on enabling business improvement. She led a multi-national and cross-functional team from the Facilities function to identify common metrics to understand performance and to share practices, resulting in a modification of the function’s strategy.

During her time at Renault, the emphasis of Rita’s contribution was in training and facilitation. She designed and delivered quality management training and facilitated the quality strategy definition in the UK and for several French and German speaking subsidiaries to transfer best practice across the Group.

Rita was responsible for developing operating processes using Six Sigma methodologies at Egg Plc to launch a credit card onto the French market, she used her in-depth knowledge of French culture and language to win buy-in from the newly acquired French workforce.
