Contact us for more details.

Standards have been around a long time, the Egyptian book of the dead was an early standard documenting how the Pharaohs should be interned.

Today most standards are developed and recognised by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and range from quality systems such as ISO9001 to specialist industry specific standards.

ISO 9001 has developed from the well know BS5750 used extensively in the UK during the 70s and 80s but now focuses much more on ensuring delivery of customer requirements and continual improvement of both the management system and the operational processes and procedures used by the organisation.

The current standard is ISO 9001:2008 but If you are already registered to ISO 9001:2000 there will be little impact, as the changes to the standard are very small. The new standard ISO 9001:2008 replaces ISO 9001:2000 but each organisation has until the end of 2009 to make any updates.

This update should not cause any major disruption to your organisation or your registration but please contact us as we can let you know what you need to do to meet the new requirements.

ley hill solutions concentrates on helping organisations to develop and implement effective management systems, which meet the ISO9000:2000 group of standards. These standards include:

ISO9001:2008 – Requirements

ISO9004:2000 – Performance improvement guidance (under revision)
